Viral Marketing: How to Create Attention
Before we get started, I think it’s important to note that – you know, whatever is going on in your mind right now, whether you’re looking around at some of the other contestants and it’s getting down to the last nitty-gritty, and you’re starting to wonder somewhere in the back of your mind, “Do I have what it takes to win this competition?” If you truly believe that you can win it, then it’s yours to win.
Here’s what we are going to cover: Viral Marketing – How to Create Attention. Viral marketing is really just a form of word-of-mouth marketing on steroid. And when I started getting into viral marketing, that’s when I started going from 40, 50, 60 opt-in members a day up to 200, 300, 400, 500, and now, over a thousand opt-in members per day coming through the network and sites that we have, primarily with the sue of viral marketing.
Have you guys ever heard of Ron Paul? Who’s Ron Paul?
Thor: He’s running for president on 2008, a second tier candidate.
Absolutely. What’s interesting is… Ron Paul, the person that you’re seeing here, doesn’t have the money people running in the Republican race have, or the Democratic race. But what he does have is he has a good message and as you can see, what he has right here on his site where the mouse is hovering over, he’s using YouTube. And he’s got MySpace, he’s got Facebook, he’s got Digg, Flickr… so, even the presidential candidates are realizing big time, that in order for us to get our message out, we’re going to use viral marketing.
